John - Hi Pat first of all thank you for talking to us today we are big fans of yours

Pat - Cheers John!!!

John - When you were growing up what were the TV shows that got you hooked watching them?

Pat - Banana Splits  /   Partridge Family   /  Double Deckers

John - When did you first realise that you wanted to work in the world of television?

Pat - When I got a job in it…………. but that was purely because of radio which was / is my primary choice and first love.

John - Do you remember your 1st day working on a TV show, what was the show and how did ur 1st day go?

Pat -  TOTP  nervous!! Just turned 21 years of age…………………..

John - When did you first hear about Fun House and what were your thoughts?

Pat - My manager told me to watch a VHS of this American kids show and I thought it looked very bright and exciting. JD Roth was the American host on Fox.

John - Did you ever think Fun House would have grown a fan base like it has over the years many considering it to be one of the best kids TV shows on the TV?

Pat - It never crossed my mind at the time, which is probably just as well. It is cult status now isn’t it? Wow, we are lucky……………

John - Did Melanie and Martina and yourself ever go through the Fun House to test it out or have a race on the Go Karts if so who won?

Pat - We were never allowed to go near it when there were any kids around (audience) but we had our moments on the closed set, so to speak!!!!

John - Has anything funny ever happened or gone wrong while filming live that you remember and how did you react and carry on?

Pat - Lots!! I got run over by a kid speeding in a go kart heading for the finish line a bit too enthusiastically!!!

John - Who influenced you in your career?

Pat - For TV nobody, for radio…. many.

John - Over the years who has been the most famous person you have worked with or met?

Pat - Princess Diana (met her a few times at Capital Radio)

John - What do you make of the changes in kids TV shows from past to present do you think they still have the same spark as in previous years?

Pat - I don’t watch kids tv and didn’t watch it back then either, but it seems (from what I hear) that that more choice has not made for better programming.

John - What projects are you currently working on and where can ur fans see you next?

Pat - I have a cameo role in a new E4 sitcom produced by the guys who made The Inbetweeners so that will be fun, watch out for it in the autumn.
