Norman - When I was asked to read for the part of Rimmer.

John - What were your thoughts when you first read the script?

Norman - I thought it was very different for a sitcom and that it was funny.

John - What did you think about the other members of the cast when you first heard who you will be be working with?

Norman - I only knew Chris Barrie through working on the comedy circuit.

John - What is your favourite episode and why?

Norman - Queeg for two reasons, it was a very funny episode and it was a Holly episode.

John - Do you remember your first day filming?

Norman - Yes, very excited and nervous.

John - What is your most embarrasing moment on set?

Norman - It was my birthday and I got a cake and everbody sang happy birthday. Worst voices I'd ever heard.

John - Did you expect the series to go on as long as it has 25 years later?

Norman - I knew it was special but never expected it to become such a cult hit. Who knows if I will ever come back, I'm certainly the right age to be Holly now.

John - What projects are you working on and where do we expect to see you next?

Norman -  Just done a sitcom called Last Contact for the internet which was good fun and doing my solo stand-up show. Recently recorded a stand-up DVD called 'Outside The Box' - gofasterstripe.com and Amazon

John - Thank you for your time Norman
